Hey there Bookworms! today is a work from home day for me so I figured why not jump in here & post my book haul. Whether I’m subconsciously trying to conserve space on my shelves for later this year or not, it’s a thing that’s happening & I’m embracing the extra $$$ in my bank account. Of course this has been the flow for January & February but let’s not talk about March yet cause well…ya’ll already know how FANTASTIC March has been in the publishing world *woot woot* & I had no chill with my pre-orders smh. Oh that’s a lovely haul, Lilly, and the hardcover of The Belles is stunning. I’m sorry, I can’t stop with this book hahahha. I also love that you got The Poet X, I haven’t read it just yet, but heard phenomenal things about this book. Did you read it already – maybe I missed your review,if so, I’m so sorry! YASSSS! HAHA! I just noticed that Brightly Burning will expire from my reader by April 9th so I will be reading it towards the end of this month LOL! not sure what your plans are but I’d def buddy read with you, just let me know 🙂 & FL is a box that I’ve been wanting for SOOOOO long! lol smh i finally decided to bite the bullet & I’m so happy I did, not only is the march AMAZING! but the exclusive covers haven’t disappointed yet *fingers crossed* so I’d say Yes 🙂

I wish that I could keep up with my reading schedule well enough to be able to tell you if I’ll be reading that book around the same time as you hahaha. And aaaah okay! I might get myself one with my first paycheque from the job I was just hired for! 😀 😀 😀

I ended up with 3 new books *for shame* Rainbirds, The Astonishing Color of After, and Not That I Could Tell *sobs* haha! I've heard AMAZING things for An American Marriage & it's a short read so I plan on throwing it in my TBR soon, I hope you enjoy the read! 🙂

Oh you got some amazing books this month Lilly. I hope you enjoy reading them all (those you haven’t read already that is). I really need to get one of the special editions of Simon Vs, I love that book and with the movie coming out I really don’t have any excuse not to get it. Also how amazing was the Fairy Loot box this month?! My favourite item by far was the mug because I LOVE the design on it, and I’ve used the socks as well, couldn’t not really.

I have been eyeing The Poet X! I imagine your hardcover of the Belles is gorgeous 💕 Sorry Fairy Loot was Hazel Wood haha.. but it looks like a fun box. I might explore subs again when finances are back under control. Hurry up and read Red Clocks dang it!!! 😗

It is perhaps the one I am most excited for in this haul! I ❤ Slam Poetry & have watched many interviews with this author, I feel like I'm going to love this one to pieces. There aren't many LATINX YA books out there at the moment so I'm SUPER stoked to get to this one asap. Red Clocks! eeeK! once I get these arcs reduced to a half-way point, i'm going to have a month of BOTM binge reading & it's 2nd on my list next to Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo lol 😉

The cover for The Belles is so gorgeous! It is available right now via my library’s digital database and I’ve been contemplating throwing my TBR out the window and picking it up lol
I’ve never seen that cover for The Hazel Wood… I think I like the other cover edition better.
So for Book of the Month box, do you select the books you want? How does that book subscription box work?

Thank you Amanda! I haven’t read Simon yet but it’s at the top of my MUST reads cause I do plan on seeing the movie this month at the very least. For BOTM, you now have the option of a month to month plan where you can skip a mth if you don’t like any of the selections. There are 5 selections each mth usually a mix of Fiction, YA, and Thriller/mystery. You select 1 book for the mthly fee of $14.99 (unless this has changed this is the latest fee) & then you have the option of adding up to 2 additional hardcovers for $9.99 each. They are all new releases with 1 or 2 being pre-releases 🙂

I know you have the print copy, but I also highly recommend the audiobook version! It is wonderfully narrated 🙂
OOOOOooo I really like the idea of picking and choosing which books you want, and skipping if you don’t like any of the selections. I may have to look into this 🙂
