SEPTEMBER BOOK HAUL


Hello Bookworms! I haven’t done a book haul since July here on the blog (book buying never stopped) & that’s because during the end of August/beginning of September I was on vacation. My first one in over 10 years & it was the most magical & happiest place on earth…more to come -pictures too- in my Wrap-Up. In September I got two subscription boxes and one Exclusive Box. My Kindle probably saw the most love during September & I’m kind of happy it worked out that way cause I’m way overdue for a un-haul & cleansing of my physical shelves. I’m really excited for the books that I did haul, they’re titles I have been eagerly anticipating and can’t wait to dive into. We’ll start this haul off with a little Gosling appreciation *heart eyes*

Mirage (my review) by Somaiya Daud

I read Mirage as part of a ARC Buddy read & was surprised in a good way to find that it’s a Sci-Fi Fantasy. I wasn’t expecting the sci-fi aspects but loved every bit of the world building this 1st book delivered. As for the FL box, with the exception of the shoelaces (major side eye) I’m really satisfied with the contents of their September box. My fave items are the art prints, notebook, and candle…although if I’m being honest I can’t smell anything from these teeny tiny candles so it’s more for the label *shrugs*

  6. Ahhhhhh, you have a galley of The Kingdom of Copper??!!! I am so freaking jealous! City of Brass is my absolute favorite read of 2018 and I am dying for that sequel. I NEED IT IMMEDIATELY! Also, I hope you really enjoy Enchantee! That’s probably one of my most anticipated releases next year. It sounds amazing!

You’ve got some amazing books to get through this month Lilly. 🙂 ❤ I really hope you enjoy Vengeful (I'm currently reading that at the moment, and I can't wait to dive back into the story the second I get a chance to) and The City of Brass because that is an all-time favourite of mine (I'm so excited for Kingdom of Copper, and very jealous that you have an ARC!)
    Your Owl Crate and Fairy Loot boxes look amazing too. I haven't read Mirage but I've heard good things about it so it'll likely end up on my TBR list before too long. 🙂

    1. Hey Beth! Thank you, I think you’d LOVE Mirage! that’s just a hunch but since we have similar taste in books, I’m pretty confident about that haha! City Of Brass is on my October TBR, it’s looking like I’ll be reading it next week. I unsubbed from Owlcrate a few months ago but when I heard they were doing a Vicious Vs. Vengeful box, i thought it was the PERFECT time to jump right into these books. I hope you have a wonderful October 🙂

  17. That’s a hell of a haul my friend!!!

    I also bought Vengful last month because..duh! lol

    I will be purchasing Darius The Great Is Not Okay next week when I meet the author at a book festival I’m attending! I’ve heard really good things about it.

    I read City of Ghosts last month and adored it. I think many people are disappointed with it, but I don’t think they are taking into consideration that it is a middle grade book… they need to take the intended audience into consideration…

    I hope you purchased The Poet X as an audiobook?! Please say yes. It is an AMAZING audiobook!!!
