MARCH BOOK HAUL


Hello Hello is anybody out there? It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written a blog post & I’m admittedly a bit rusty 🙈 but ummm have no fear! I am quickly getting back in the swing of things. 2018 was a bit rough at the end for a number of reasons but 2019 so far has proven to be full of blessings & beautiful surprises 💓 I thought I had lost my love for books & blogging, turns out *Maury Voice* the lie detector determined THAT WAS A LIE!!! 🙌🏽 my appetite for books has returned full force. I recently finished & LOVED Daisy Jones & The Six, a gift from my Twin Soul Gretchen over at ChicNerdReads who truly knows when to send a book recc my way (thanks Twin!) 🖤 I’m currently reading Wicked Saints (Something Dark and Holy #1) by Emily A. Duncan, my first Fantasy of the year & so far I’m really enjoying this one 🤞🏽I have reviews I’ve been working on & will start to sprinkle out over the next week. One major thing did change & that’s the way I buy books. After un-hauling 50+ books, I knew I was going to be hella selective going forward. This haul contains only books that I’ve HIGHLY been anticipating & will be reading very soon.   9. Welcome back Lilly, it’s great to see you back blogging again and you’ve definitely got some brilliant books in this haul. I brought The Priory of the Orange Tree a little while back and I can’t wait to get around to it, I really hope you enjoy it. Also I recently finished Wicked Saints and I’ll be interested to see what you think of it when you’re done. I hope you continue enjoying it as well. 🙂

I’ve missed you! 😭 thank you for the luv 🖤Priory I think I will start and just read along with my other books cause it’s so HUGE! 😱 but I can’t wait to see what it’s all about, it’s been a while since I’ve read anything with dragons 😍 so far I’m enjoying Wicked Saints but I’m only 140 pages in. It’s great to be able to enjoy reading and blogging again, I’m so happy to see you here! 💕

        Yeah it’s massive, I think part of the reason I haven’t started it yet is because I’m a little intimidated by the size of it!

    Lovely haul! Have you read any of these books yet? I’ve got my eye on Priory and Queenie.

    I’ve seen so many mixed reviews for Wicked Saints…. have you finished? I currently have it from the library right now, but haven’t decided if I am going to give it a go or not.

    I am super excited to read Daisy Jones & the Six! I am #1 on the hold list at my library, so hopefully in the next few weeks I’ll have my hands on it 🙂

      I haven’t read Priory it Queenie yet but they’re on my more immediate TBR. Have a good feeling about Queenie.

      I did enjoy Wicked Saints, it was going to be a 4 star but that last portion of the book solidified the 5 star rating for me. It’s a good addition to the YA Fantasy genre.
