Melissa’s Questions:
1-What’s a book you feel like changed your life? Why?
Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire. As to why? It was the book I Was carrying in my hands when I met my husband. He walked in carrying Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and we exchanged a look that led to a spoiler free discussion of HP. I knew I’d met my book soulmate & since then we buddy read often 😍
2-What’s a book series you’re dreading the end to? A series you don’t want to end.
Sarah J. Mass’ Throne Of Glass & now that it’s making its way to tv I’m even more dreadful. I’m really hoping it’s done well so that when the books do come to an end, at least I’ll still be able to get my fix lol.
3-What’s a book or series you feel is extremely underrated?
Pierce Brown’s Red Rising trilogy, it def gets name dropped often but I don’t feel that it’s hyped up like other series. It is my favorite trilogy of ALL time! I read it with my husband & we were constantly texting each other throughout the day whenever we came across a new revelation. The characters in this trilogy are some of my ALL time favorite, I miss them! But I’m happy to have learned that he will continue with this world in a spin off.
4-If you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Yellow rice & pinto beans with steak, lettuce, and tomato…a Puerto-Rican staple ☺️🙌🏼😉
5-What’s something you enjoy besides reading or blogging?
Hmmm…road trips!!! anywhere & everywhere. Being from the city & living a fast paced life leaves me no time to sight see so whenever I can…I GO!
6-What’s your favorite season?
Fall. It’s the perfect time for light jackets or cozy sweaters. It’s also great for book pics, tea, and reading lots of books
7-Stand alone or series?
Series. I’m greedy with books/characters that I love. Which is probably why I won’t watch mini-series no matter how great they sound lol.
8-What book to movie adaptation are you looking forward to the most?
A Court Of Thorns & Roses *hands down* I cannot wait to see this on the big screen & I’m hoping that Rhys is EVERYTHING & MORE!
9-Is there a character that everyone else seems to dislike, but that you really love?
Quentin Coldwater from The Magicians trilogy. He’s broody & self-centered at times but by the end, I felt like I understood Quentin.
10-If you could have any power at all what would it be?
Teleportation. It’s the only way I’d get to see this massive earth in its entirety. It would also be cost & time effective 😉
11-If it was possible to be physically transported into any book world which one would you choose? Why?
Ha! Teleported you ask?!?! It would have to be Hogwarts…well specifically Diagon Alley because that’s where all the fun is had, OH! & where you can find Butterbeer 🙃

All of your answers are so great! Especially the first one, I was all “Awwwwwwww!❤️”.
I’m right there with you on teleportation and fall. Also I so didn’t know that there was a possibility of ACOTAR becoming a movie. I hope it ends up turning out as perfect as the book! And I completely agree about Rhys.

I LOVE YOUR ANSWERS!!!!
I sighed so hard when I read that Harry Potter was how you met your husband omggggg so freaking cute *insert squeal here*
All I’m saying is that ToG and ACOTAR BETTER BE FANTASTIC once it’s on screen because I will be a very very angry person lol.
I would also go with Teleportation! Thanks for tagging me!!

I couldn’t stand Quentin from The Magicians. I only read the first book and didn’t continue.

He def isn’t an easy pill to swallow but he redeems himself in other ways in the other books. He’s def not as un-likable in the SyFy series The Magicians.
