The Playlist Shuffle Tag


Happy Thanksgiving ALL!!! I’ve been sick for the past week with a bad cold and asthma which is why i’ve been a bit M.I.A here on the blog. I’m honestly thankful to finally being able to breathe a bit better just in time for Thanksgiving with the family. I’m also very thankful for this wonderful community of bloggers that welcomed me into the blogosphere 6 months ago today. Seriously Ladies & Gents, you all are AMAZING human beings that can turn any bad day into a good one just by me opening my WordPress app. I am thankful for all of the comments that remind me there are people out there reading my shared thoughts, the likes & the shares on Twitter…it feels so good to finally connect with people who get my love for all things books & have taken the time out to get to know the gal behind the screen. Now, on to the tag lol…

Anne from InkedBrownies tagged me & stated the reason as “because I can’t help but wonder what’s coming through those earphones in her profile picture!  This alone had me raising a brow in question of which headphones she was referring to. Whelp in my profile pic I had headphones & I’ve just changed my profile pic this morning only to realize that my headphones make an appearance in this new photo as well LMAO! I was also tagged by Danielle at Booksvertigoandtea, funny thing Danielle that you would list a Beatles song as 1 of your 12 cuz I struggled finding my FAVORITE Beatles song on Youtube & therefore left it out—>Come Together is a song I listen to daily & always comes up no matter how many times I shuffle, it knows I love it so much lol. If you’re not already following these lovely gals, please do I guarantee they will only brighten up your Reader 😉

Oh Florence…this song is always on heavy rotation on my playlist. I have 3 of her albums & can’t go a day w/out listening to those vocals.

I tag all who are interested in doing this tag, I had a blast with this one! I love tags that make me laugh while completing them. I laughed at how random I can be with my music taste & when picking my favorite lyrics I also had a few moments of deep thought. This tag was fun & I could kick myself for hesitating on doing it cuz I don’t know about ya’ll but my playlist is an extension of me & that can get personal real quick LMAO! No regrets here though so thanks Anne & Danielle! 😉

    1. It sure does, thanks Drew 😃 with over 4,000 songs in my iTunes, I doubt I even have a type but this is a small list of my faves lol. 6 months flew by which I guess is a good thing, must mean I’m having fun 😂

      2. 😂😂😂 yea it’s more than I thought I had but I have a bit of everything in there. Since it’s so large & I’m so indecisive when making playlist on the go lol, my listening is always random 😉

      3. Ha, oh man, my listening is hardly ever random, I’m very particular and generally listen to what I want to listen to, not just random songs. That’s what I actually found really cool about this tag when Danielle tagged me, it got me to listen to random songs and some quality tunes that I really like but hadn’t heard in ages.😀

  4. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been ill recently. That always sucks doesn’t it but at least you were feeling a little better for Thanksgiving today. Also congratulations on reaching your six month blogiversary! 😀
    I haven’t listened to many of the songs that came up on your list for this tag but I LOVE Florence and the Machine. I’m the same because I have to listen to at least one of her songs each time my iPod comes on. 🙂

      1. That’s all right, and yeah it always sucks when you’re ill over holidays.
        I’d love to go and see her live, I reckon that would be an amazing experience. She’s on pretty much all of my playlists as well, then again I don’t have many playlists to choose from at the moment! 😀

  10. I am so happy you are feeling better! My best friend IRL suffers from asthma as well. She typically spends a weekend in the hospital every spring and fall because of it 😦 I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Congrats on 6 months of blogging!!! I am so excited for you. So happy we found each other in the blogoshpere 🙂 I love the new profile picture by the way. You have the most beautiful lips ever. Seriously, I’m jealous. I am a country and Classic rock fan, so I must admit we have different tastes in music HOWEVER I LOVE Blues Traveler and Shakira, so there’s that lol

I am also very happy we found each other on the blogosphere, I always look forward to visiting your blog & filling up my TBR 😂 Thank you for the compliment 🙈😊🙈 also with over 4,000 songs on my iTunes lol I def get down with Country & Classic Rock 👍🏼 I don’t know all of the big stars but I have 2 of Miranda Lamberts albums, all of Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum lol. I was raised on Classic Rock & would go to sleep listening to our CR station on the radio 😂 Blues Traveler has a special place in my heart & who doesn’t love the Goddess Shakira?!?! 🙌🏼
