Happy Thanksgiving ALL!!! I’ve been sick for the past week with a bad cold and asthma which is why i’ve been a bit M.I.A here on the blog. I’m honestly thankful to finally being able to breathe a bit better just in time for Thanksgiving with the family. I’m also very thankful for this wonderful community of bloggers that welcomed me into the blogosphere 6 months ago today. Seriously Ladies & Gents, you all are AMAZING human beings that can turn any bad day into a good one just by me opening my WordPress app. I am thankful for all of the comments that remind me there are people out there reading my shared thoughts, the likes & the shares on Twitter…it feels so good to finally connect with people who get my love for all things books & have taken the time out to get to know the gal behind the screen. Now, on to the tag lol…
Anne from InkedBrownies tagged me & stated the reason as “because I can’t help but wonder what’s coming through those earphones in her profile picture! This alone had me raising a brow in question of which headphones she was referring to. Whelp in my profile pic I had headphones & I’ve just changed my profile pic this morning only to realize that my headphones make an appearance in this new photo as well LMAO! I was also tagged by Danielle at Booksvertigoandtea, funny thing Danielle that you would list a Beatles song as 1 of your 12 cuz I struggled finding my FAVORITE Beatles song on Youtube & therefore left it out—>Come Together is a song I listen to daily & always comes up no matter how many times I shuffle, it knows I love it so much lol. If you’re not already following these lovely gals, please do I guarantee they will only brighten up your Reader 😉
- List the first 10 12 songs that come on shuffle (no skipsies)
- Then write your favorite lyric (or verse) from that song *if it’s worth to mention*
- Tag others
Disclaimer—I am all over the place with my music & can easily go from singing my heart out over a ballad to full out failed attempts at dancing like Shakira
*no shame in my game*
#1 Shakira-La Tortura Reggaeton Remix
No pido que todos los días sean de sol
No pido que todos los viernes sean de fiesta
Tampoco te pido que vuelvas rogando perdón
Si lloras con los ojos secos
Y hablando de ella
#2 Blues Traveler-Run Around (this man & his harmonica bring back so many memories of Summer road trips to Upstate NY with my Uncle & cousins)
And I’ll lie too and say I don’t mind
And as we seek so shall we find
And when you’re feeling open I’ll still be here
But not without a certain degree of fear
Of what will be with you and me
I still can see things hopefully
*for any Roseanne fans, you may have seen Blues Traveler on the show a few times since he made several appearances 🙂
#3 Emeli Sandé-My Kind Of Love (Redone and Alex P Remix)
‘Cause when you given up
When no matter what you do, it’s never good enough
When you never thought that it could ever get this tough
That’s when you feel my kind of love
#4 Amy Winehouse-You Know I’m No Good
I cheated myself
Like I knew I would
I told ya I was troubled
You know that I’m no good
I cheated myself
Like I knew I would
I told ya I was troubled
Yeah, ya know that I’m no good
#5 J Balvin feat. Pharell Williams, BIA, Sky-Safari
Doesn’t matter when or where this song comes on, i’m rolling windows down & busting a move lol
#6 Nas Featuring Amy Winehouse-Cherry Wine
I want someone who like the champagne I like
My a-alike, someone to talk me off the bridge any day or night
She teach me how to live, she ain’t afraid of life
Not easily impressed with the rich and famous life
Cause she done been there and heard all the rumors before
#7 Duffy-Syrup & Honey
Don’t you be wastin’ all your money
On syrup and honey because I’m sweet enough
Don’t you be usin’ every minute on makin’ a livin’
Because we got our love

Send my love to your new lover
Treat her better
We gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We’ve both know we ain’t kids no more

OBSESSED with this soundtrack as a whole!
#10 Mary J. Blige featuring Smif ‘N’ Wesson- I Love You (Remix)
#11 Florence + The Machine-Shake It Out
And every demon wants his pound of flesh
But I like to keep some things to myself
I like to keep my issues strong
It’s always darkest before the dawn
Oh Florence…this song is always on heavy rotation on my playlist. I have 3 of her albums & can’t go a day w/out listening to those vocals.
#12 Mary J. Blige-Someone To Love Me feat Diddy & Lil Wayne (Oh Man! if this were an old school record I would’ve burned right through it!)
The war’s I’ve fought, scars that I’ve garnered
The hustle, I got that honest from my father
Mix me with violence, blend me with peace
Combine me with hate and I can’t face defeat (nope)
I did it all in a week
Still incomplete as I stand on my feet
It take a lot to still dance to the beat
Skin more cold and callous than concrete
I tag all who are interested in doing this tag, I had a blast with this one! I love tags that make me laugh while completing them. I laughed at how random I can be with my music taste & when picking my favorite lyrics I also had a few moments of deep thought. This tag was fun & I could kick myself for hesitating on doing it cuz I don’t know about ya’ll but my playlist is an extension of me & that can get personal real quick LMAO! No regrets here though so thanks Anne & Danielle! 😉
& I’m BACK with a tag this Sunday afternoon! I haven’t done a tag in a bit but I stumbled across this one over at Sara from Freedom Library and thought why not?!?! it’s hella cute! I’m a HUGE cookie LOVER & this tag is only making me want to go to a pastry shop with my book which would probably work against my diet but YOLO right?!? smh lol. The creator of this tag is Nicole from Sorry, I’m Booked.
- In addition to linking back to the person who tagged you, it would be awesome if you link back to Nicole’s original post!
- Pick a book that corresponds to the cookie’s ‘theme’
- Tag 1 to 3 people
CHOCOLATE CHIP: A CLASSIC BOOK THAT YOU LOVE OR REALLY ENJOYED (INTERPRET CLASSIC HOW YOU WANT, IT CAN BE A CLASSIC WRITTEN 100 YEARS AGO OR 20 YEARS AGO)
I have 2 that I hold close to my heart: To Kill a Mockingbird & The Iliad, both of which I read in grade school & stirred up my love for classics. I was very young when I was reading most well known classics on my own because YA unfortunately was not yet a thing. One of my goals in 2017 is to re-visit some well known classics with my now adult mind 😉
THIN MINTS: A FANDOM THAT YOU REALLY WANT TO ‘JOIN’ AND/OR A HYPED-UP BOOK YOU WANT TO READ (YOUR SOURCE(S) OF A BOOK BEING HYPED CAN BE FROM ANYWHERE)
Easy! The Falling Kingdoms series, I’ve slowly been purchasing the books in this series (from Bookoutlet) which already has a spin-off. I think what is so appealing about this series besides it being Fantasy is that it’s told in multiple POV’s which is my fave format in books. It’s going to happen soon, I’m going to binge these 😉
SHORTBREAD: AN AUTHOR YOU CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF
Recently my very first New Adult series & now i’m kind of going through withdrawals because besides one other book she currently has out…there’s nothing else to read from her…K.A Tucker my friends!!! I still faithfully check her social media for any nugget of info *crosses fingers* ❤ U GRAY 4 introducing me to my new obsession!
SAMOAS/CARAMEL DELITES: AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER (THIS COOKIE WAS HARD …SO ANY BOOK THAT MADE YOU FEEL MORE THAN ONE EMOTION, STRONGLY. THE CHOICE OF EMOTIONS IS UP TO YOU)
Sara at Freedom Library had an awesome pick for this one cuz More Happy Than Not definitely put me THROUGH it Gals & Ghouls! BUT alas, I’ll give the honors to a more recent read, Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. It was such a ride that I haven’t watched the movie yet, just not ready lol.
OREOS: A BOOK WHOSE COVER WAS BETTER THAN THE STORY OR VICE VERSA, WHERE THE STORY WAS BETTER THAN ITS COVER
Ummm..LOL..I can’t go into this one too much because i’m still experiencing the dissapointment 700 pages later. I have a review for Empire Of Storms here in which I rated this 5th installment a 3.5 stars but since then it’s been bumped to a 3 possibly even a 2.5…Jussayin…
TAGALONGS/PEANUT BUTTER PATTIES: A BOOK THAT WASN’T WHAT YOU EXPECTED (GOOD, BAD, OR JUST DIFFERENT, INTERPRET HOW YOU WISH)
Illuminae by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kauffman!!! THIS BOOK! Oh Goodness! I was so intimidated by the format of this book which is told in a series of e-mails, memo’s, and chat’s until I finally decided to take the plunge. NO REGRETS! BEST DECISION EVER! 1st book to make me jump off my couch yelling YES! YES! YES! such a good story & I’ve already reserved my copy of Gemina 😉
SNICKERDOODLES: A BOOK YOU MAY NEVER STOP REREADING/LOVING
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness…Crushed me in it’s beautiful sadness, through magical realism this story weaves a powerful tale that has stayed with me since the 1st day I opened it. I don’t do re-reads nor do I remember many details of books I read a year back cuz I just have terrible memory but not this book. A Monster Calls will be with me till I grow old…

E-Book or Physical Book?
Physical book, I started my own little library at home & enjoy staring at my shelves for unusually long minutes at a time. I do however read e-books for my more lengthier reads (usually Fantasy/Sci-Fi) because if I want to finish a 700 page book, it’s gonna have to be at night while my tiny humans are asleep. Also saves my pages from humidity & sogginess when i’m hiding from said tiny humans in the bathroom (it has to be daddy’s turn some time hehe).
Paperback or Hardback?
Hardback, I can’t even look at a broken spine w/out wincing. In the 3rd grade I scored my 1st “job” working in the school library. Part of my duties were binding up damaged spines with thick colored tape…it was the saddest job ever & this includes my stint working in a pharmacy.
Online or In-Store Book Shopping?
In-store. I love EVERYTHING about the experience from the moment I step foot through those doors. The book smell, new releases front & center, the book lovers quietly browsing, member’s coupons combined with 30% off in store deals (this gal knows what she’s doing lol), and the high I get from walking out with a new book & bookmark in hand smh. I also order online & take advantage of some amazing deals/steals, but nothing quite feels the same as a book store for me.
Trilogies or Series?
Series. Unfortunately I haven’t found many trilogies that left me truly satisfied (exception: Red Rising trilogy). As long as the books being put out are good then I don’t mind continuing.
Heroes or Villains?
I always choose anti-hero (sorry Drew lol). There’s something about a potty mouthed, sarcastic, loner of a anti-hero that I’m always rooting for. I don’t see myself filling the shoes of a hero but i’m not a fan of many villains either.
A book you want everyone to read?
The Immortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks By Rebecca Skloot
Henrietta’s story filled me with sorrow & appreciation. So many of the vaccines & scientific/medical advances were made off the cells in her body taken without her consent.
Henrietta Lacks, as HeLa, is known to present-day scientists for her cells from cervical cancer. She was a poor Southern tobacco farmer who worked the same land as her slave ancestors, yet her cells were taken without her knowledge and still live decades after her death. Cells descended from her may weigh more than 50M metric tons.
HeLa cells were vital for developing the polio vaccine; uncovered secrets of cancer, viruses, and the atom bomb’s effects; helped lead to important advances like in vitro fertilization, cloning, and gene mapping; and have been bought and sold by the billions. Yet Henrietta Lacks was buried in an unmarked grave.
The journey starts in the “colored” ward of Johns Hopkins Hospital in the 1950s, her small, dying hometown of Clover, Virginia — wooden slave quarters, faith healings, and voodoo. Today are stark white laboratories with freezers full of HeLa cells, East Baltimore children and grandchildren live in obscurity, see no profits, and feel violated. The dark history of experimentation on African Americans helped lead to the birth of bioethics, and legal battles over whether we control the stuff we are made of.
Recommend an underrated book?
Little Bee: A Novel by Chris Cleave
I can’t attach a synopsis for this book since the publishers didn’t want to give anything away about this story but I can promise you that it’s one worth picking up. On Amazon the following is listed for this book:
“We don’t want to tell you too much about this book. It is a truly special story and we don’t want to spoil it. Nevertheless, you need to know something, so we will just say this: It is extremely funny, but the African beach scene is horrific. The story starts there, but the book doesn’t. And it’s what happens afterward that is most important. Once you have read it, you’ll want to tell everyone about it. When you do, please don’t tell them what happens either. The magic is in how it unfolds.”
The last book you finished?
This Savage Song by Victoria Shchwab & it was DELICIOUSLY DARK! my review can be found here.
The Last Book You Bought?
It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark?
Nothing weird recently but while on maternity leave…a clean diaper…a pacifier clip…I mean the possibilities were endless.
Used Books: Yes or No?
I have a few, there’s a store nearby the hubby’s office that carries some used books in tip top shape (yea I said that lol). For the most part I don’t buy used books because my mild OCD would drive me nuts at a torn cover or cracked spine.
Top Three Favourite Genres?
Fantasy, YA, & Literary Fiction
Borrow or Buy?
Buy. I don’t borrow because although i’m great at returning, I have learned that others are NOT. So in order to prevent anyone from asking, I don’t ask to borrow anything myself 😉
Characters or Plot?
Characters. I think in my last tag I mentioned that characters make the story for me, they are the ones that remain after i’ve turned the last page. My current read has me wanting to leave the characters in the dust as I high tail it out of that fictional world -_-
Long or Short Books?
Long. I like tomes, as long as by the time I reach page 500+ you’ve gotten somewhere important in thy quest.
Long or Short Chapters?
Short, I get anxious when I don’t see an end chapter in the horizon lol.
Name The First Three Books You Think Of…
And I Darken by Kiersten White (soon to read anti-hero)
The Well of Ascension (Mistborn #2)…Need to read to catch up to hubby
The Lies of Lock Lamora…(thank you Drew, it’s now in my online shopping cart lol)
Books That Make You Laugh or Cry?
Laugh…PLEASE..put me in stitches!
Our World or Fictional Worlds?
Fictional. Take me awaaaaaaaaaaaY! Far Far awaaaaaaaaaaaY!
Audiobooks: Yes or No?
Yes. I do audible especially for memoirs narrated by my favorite comedians & Neil Gaiman…cuz he has the perfect story telling voice…In my mind he is my uncle lol (don’t judge)
Do You Ever Judge a Book by its Cover?
Ha! after I said don’t judge…HELL YEA! it’s the 1st thing we see, I am terribly vein with my books *shame* not with real life people though.
Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?
I agree with Drew, either or if it’s done well but I have also seen it go horribly wrong.
A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?
World War Z (sorry not sorry)
Series or Standalone’s?
OooOo tough one! I like both, can’t choose one here *don’t make me*

Here are the rules:
- Mention the creator of the tag
- Thank the blogger who tagged you!
- Choose one of the options, you don’t have to tell the reasons why you chose that but you can also do them if you want to.
- Tag 10 other people to do this tag to spread the love!
Reading on the couch or in the bed?
I remember when I used to LOVE reading in bed, then I acquired a husband & 2 tiny humans lol. Now, I alternate between reading on my commute to work & my bathtub. Most of my reading is done on my 1.5 hour ride to/from work & I even have instrumentals on my phone ready to block out all of my fellow New Yorker’s.
Male main character or Female main character?
So…ok…lol. I read another bloggers answer last night & commented on her post saying that I feel the same way. We agreed that our inner feminists were prob giving us the evil eye HAHA! I LOVE a strong female kick ass protagonist but I’ve mostly read male protagonists & really enjoyed them. It hasn’t been until recently that I started finding some of my most favorite female protagonists, mostly in YA Fantasy and can’t get enough of them!
Sweet Snacks Or Salty Snacks?
I’m not much of a snacker when I’m reading but there’s always that special night…
Trilogies Or Quartets?
Quartets Only if the the 3rd book was EVERYTHING & MORE! I’m greedy with my fictional characters.
First Person POV Or Third Person POV?
I enjoy a book with multiple POV’s especially when you get a big cast of characters you love. It’s like a special treat awaits me every time I start a new chapter & it’s my fave character’s POV.
Reading At Night Or In The Morning?
This is another habit that has changed for me, it used to be that I liked reading at night but now due to my life being re-arranged I actually enjoy my morning reading. Nights are reserved for my TV series.
Libraries Or Bookstores?
Bookstores ALL the way! besides the fact that my library exists only to deceive bookworms (Please see July Wrap up post for pics of my sad Library) LOL. I actually enjoy everything from seeing the new releases on their shelves to wandering from floor to floor inhaling my favorite smell in the world. Oh I get comfortable, Starbucks in one hand and B&N member’s coupons on the other…I make the most of these visits lol. Don’t even get me started on Strand Bookstore!
Books That Make You Laugh Or Books That Make You Cry?
Laugh…the more the better. I can appreciate a sad book every once in a while but if a book can make me laugh in the middle of a crowded NYC train, then it’s an instant fave.
Black Book Covers Or White Book Covers?
Hmmm…I really love the look of the U.K. white covers, so crisp & beautiful. Now if the question was about the page color, I would say BLACK!
Character Driven Or Plot Driven Stories?
Character. I love my character’s complex & love getting a ton of insight as to why they do the things they do. What drives them? In the end, I always fall in love with a good character & they are what remains after I read the last page.
GASPPSSSS! I was tagged by the lovely Amanda @Cover2CoverMom for the Beauty & The Beast Book Tag created by Kirsty@Kirsty and the Cat Read. I ADORE all things Beauty & The Beast, as I’m sure a ton of my fellow book lovers do. Thank you Amanda for tagging me, the questions have my wheels turning lol. You can read the original tag here → Kirsty and the Cat Read: Beauty & The Beast Book Tag.
» Thank the person who tagged you

“Tale As Old As Time” – A popular theme, trope or setting you will never get bored of reading.
I’ve been unknowingly attracted to the trope commonly found in YA Fantasy where we get our heroine (it’s usually a female nowadays, move over fellas) who has never fought a day in her life yet by the middle of the book has become a pro at kicking ass & taking names. I LIVE for this trope! Some of my favorites are:
Celeana Sardothien from the Throne Of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
Feyre from the A Court of Thorns & Roses series by Sarah J. Maas
Karou from the Daughter Of Smoke & Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor
Belle – A book you bought for it’s beautiful cover that’s just as beautiful inside too
The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows Of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton, This book is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. Filled with Magical Realism, a story of love & loss through 3 generations of women.
Beast – A book you didn’t expect much from but pleasantly surprised you
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness was not what I expected at all in a very good way! the cover alone on this book scared the beejesus out of me but I’m so happy to have listened to my bestie & picked it up. This book is BEAUTIFUL & tells a story I’m sure we can all relate to.
Gaston – A book everyone loves that you don’t
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas Although I love this series as a whole, my love for this series didn’t start until Crown Of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2). The reason being that I found Celeana to be extremely naive & overall just immature but only a Queen like SJM can take character development to another level like she did in this series. Very happy I decided to stay with this one.
Lefou – A loyal sidekick you can’t help but love more than their counter part.
This honor can only be bestowed upon Iko the Droid from Cinder (The Lunar Chronciles #1) by Marissa Meyer. I enjoyed Iko way more than Cinder & only grew to love her more as the series progressed. Can’t wait to see her in the upcoming graphic novels 🙂
Mrs Potts, Chip, Lumier & Cogsworth – A book that helped you through a difficult time or that taught you something valuable
Every Last Word by Tamera Ireland Stone THIS BOOK!!!! every once in a while you come across a book you never knew you needed, Every Last Word was that book for me. This book tells the story of a girl struggling with the everyday issues of a high-schooler, only she’s doing so with OCD. Samantha McAllister is the popular girl in school with a clique of “Mean Girls” however, none of these girls knows that she battles OCD daily. The author Tamera Ireland Stone extensively researched OCD & it showed in this book. As a person who manages OCD on a lesser scale, this book will always be close to my heart.
“Something There” – A book or a series that you weren’t into at first but picked up towards the end.
The Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman This trilogy was VERY slow…I considered DNF’ing it at some point during the first book but my love for all things resembling Narnia really pushed me to stay put. Again, very glad that I did because although slow at first, it did pick up by the end of book one & continued for the remainder of the trilogy. This is a very dark read, the characters are broody & unlovable (lol), the pacing can be slow but the pay off was huge 😉
“Be Our Guest” – A fictional character you’d love to have over for dinner
Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling…That would make for an interesting & quirky dinner that I would be all for!
I’d like to tag the following bloggers to complete this book tag:
Thank you Chicnerdreads for this tag💕
1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?
It used to be my bedroom, Once Upon a Time. Now it’s my bathtub (away from my tiny tot & 5-year-old). This of course can be very tricky when I have a physical book but I make it work. It doesn’t get any easier with an e-book, due to foggy screen BUT there aren’t any interruptions 🙂
2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Bookmark, preferably a funny one.
3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/ a certain amount of pages?
I prefer to stop after a chapter & also I have this thing where I don’t like stopping at odd page #’s. This may sound odd but I can’t help it lol.
4. Do you eat or drink while reading?
Drink. Usually have my large mug with tea in it OR an ice cold bottle of water.
5. Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?
I can only listen to instrumentals (lyrics throw me off) & they have to go with the pace of the story somehow.
6. One book at a time or several at once?
That depends on my main read. If I’m reading a darker/slower physical book, it will push me to pick up a lighter e-book or audiobook. Never the same genre, I would be the person to get my characters/story lines mixed up.
7. Reading at home or everywhere?
I’m on the go 7 days a week for the most part as a New Yorker. During the week, I read on my long train ride to/from work. On the weekends, I try to read in the car but I never get more than 2 pages in lol.
8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?
Silently, much faster reader this way also. For some reason, I feel that I need to do voices for each character out loud & this can be time consuming 😉
9. Do you read ahead or even skip pages?
No skipping for me, If I read something major ahead of time it just may ruin the whole book for me.
10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?
Brand spanking new. As a matter of fact, at the age of 8, I “worked” at the school library binding broken books back together again with masking tape (baccccck in the day lol) & it was a lesson for me in how to treat my books…like PORCELAIN! Lol
11. Do you write in your books?
Absolutely not. Blasphemy.SMH.
12. Who do you tag?
Happy Friday’s Eve All!!! I’m pretty new to the blogosphere so I’d like to give a big Thank You to the lovely Felicia @ Fell For Books for nominating me for this award 💕

How did my blog get started?
My love for reading started when I was 8 years old. Oddly enough, it was through an audio cassette tape of Alice In Wonderland I got in my McDonald’s Happy Meal. Soon enough, I started my visits to the library where I discovered Charlotte’s Web (talking animals? Yes please!)…from that point on I was addicted to the look, smell, & feel of a book in my hands at all times. My soon to be husband (tomorrow is the wedding day to be exact lol) is also a reader & for the past 7 years has been my willing & sometimes unwilling book buddy/1 man fan-girl spectator. Last year I discovered Booktube…what?!?! People reviewing, gushing, hauling, ranting & raving about BOOKS?!?! Netflix quickly placed in the back burner, I was dedicated to watching and commenting. After all, this was a community filled with people just like me. Passionate about all things books. I no longer felt like the only bookworm on the face of the planet lol. Still, I found myself really wanting to have a space of my own in this book community not just sit on the sidelines. As an introvert & someone who has anxiety, it didn’t seem likely that I’d make my channel any time soon. Enter—> Bookstagram!!! Turns out I enjoy taking photos of my books (not just my 2 kids lol) & there was a place online already doing that. I love Bookstagramm! Participating in the monthly challenges is fun & a cool way to connect with other readers. It was during my Booktube viewing though, that I stumbled across Gretchen over at ChicNerdReads who I found I could relate to. Welp, one day she announced that she had started a book blog. Now, the hubby had often suggested I start one but I guess it took me seeing someone like me work up the nerve to do it to finally give me that push. So thanks again Gretchen! You da best! Lol
My 2 pieces of advice to new bloggers?
I am a new blogger myself so I’m not yet comfortable with giving advice on blogging. Instead I’ll share some of the advice I found useful:
•Stay connected to other book bloggers by reading & commenting on their posts.
•Participate in weekly memes like Top 5 Wednesday & Tuesday Talks
• A clean & organized layout will probably encourage others to feel welcome
• thoughtful reviews & recommendations with warnings whenever they include spoilers
A huge thank you to Chicnerdreads for tagging me to do this!
*Memory lapse yesterday, forgot to post my quote lol, I’m too young for this to happen 😂😩😂
1. Thank the person that nominated you
2. Post a quote 3 consecutive days
3. Nominate 3 new bloggers every day
“I mean a fat, ugly man can still be funny and lovable and successful,” continued Jane. “But it’s like it’s the most shameful thing for a woman to be.” “But you weren’t, you’re not—” began Madeline. “Yes, OK, but so what if I was!” interrupted Jane. “What if I was! That’s my point. What if I was a bit overweight and not especially pretty? Why is that so terrible? So disgusting? Why is that the end of the world?”
